यस्मिन् नित्ये तते तन््तौ दृढे स्रगिव तिष्ठति
yasmin nitye tate tantau dṛḍhe srag iva tiṣṭhati
Bhīṣma dit : «Sur ce fil éternel, tendu et solide, cela demeure—comme une guirlande tenue par une corde robuste.» Dans l’ordre éthique, cette image enseigne que les multiples formes de conduite et d’expérience ne restent cohérentes que si elles sont ancrées dans un principe stable et immuable ; sans un tel fondement, l’ordre et le sens s’effondrent.
