ते रथैर्नगराकारै: प्रयाता: पुरुषर्षभा: । नेमिघोषेण महता कम्पयन्तो वसुन्धराम्,वे पुरुषप्रवर पाण्डव और श्रीकृष्ण नगराकार रथोंद्वारा उनके पहियोंके गम्भीर घोषसे पृथ्वीको कँपाते हुए बड़े वेगसे गये
te rathair nagarākāraiḥ prayātāḥ puruṣarṣabhāḥ | nemighoṣeṇa mahatā kampayanto vasundharām ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Ces hommes, puissants comme des taureaux, s’élancèrent sur des chars vastes comme des cités ; et, dans le fracas profond de leurs roues, ils firent trembler la terre en fonçant—image d’un élan irrésistible et d’une puissance royale mise au service d’une marche résolue.
