Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī
तेडर्चयन्ति सदा देवं तै: सार्थ रमते च सः । प्रियभक्तो हि भगवान् परमात्मा द्विजप्रिय:
te 'rcayanti sadā devaṃ taiḥ sārthaṃ ramate ca saḥ | priyabhakto hi bhagavān paramātmā dvijapriyaḥ ||
Nārada dit : «Ils vénèrent sans cesse le Seigneur, et le Seigneur, ravi, se divertit en leur compagnie. Car le Bienheureux—le Soi suprême—chérît tout particulièrement les dévots aimants, et Il est aussi l’ami des “deux-fois-nés” (les brahmanes).»
नारद उवाच
Steady worship and loving devotion draw the Lord’s favor; the divine responds with intimacy and joy toward sincere devotees, and upholds those aligned with dharma, here highlighted as the dvijas.
Nārada describes a community of worshippers who constantly honor the Lord; in return, the Lord gladly remains with them, emphasizing His affection for devoted hearts and His regard for the dvijas.
