नारायणानुशास्ता हि तदा देवी सरस्वती । विवेश तानृषीन् सर्वाल्लॉंकानां हितकाम्यया
nārāyaṇānuśāstā hi tadā devī sarasvatī | viveśa tān ṛṣīn sarvāl lokānāṃ hitakāmyayā ||
Bhīṣma dit : En ce temps-là, la déesse Sarasvatī—agissant sous l’ordre de Nārāyaṇa—entra en tous ces sages, animée du désir d’assurer le bien de tous les mondes.
भीष्म उवाच
True knowledge and eloquent teaching (Sarasvatī) are presented as divinely guided and ethically directed: inspiration should serve lokahita—universal welfare—rather than personal gain.
Under Nārāyaṇa’s instruction, Sarasvatī enters the assembled sages, empowering them from within so that their insight and speech may benefit all the worlds.
