स पूज्यमानो देवैश्व गन्धर्वैक्रेषिभिस्तथा
sa pūjyamāno devaiś ca gandharvair ṛṣibhis tathā, āsīt kila mahārāja śukābhipatane tadā |
Bhishma dit : «Ô grand roi, en ce temps-là, tandis que Śuka s’élevait vers les hauteurs, il était véritablement honoré par les dieux, les Gandharvas et les sages. Ainsi célébré, le ciel, de tous côtés, semblait se couvrir d’une pluie de fleurs divines offertes avec vénération.»
