महच्च फलवैषम्यं दृश्यते कर्मसंधिषु । वहन्ति शिबिकामन्ये यान्त्यन्ये शिबिकागता:,कर्मोके फलमें भी बड़ी भारी विषमता देखनेमें आती है। कुछ लोग पालकी ढोते हैं और दूसरे लोग उसी पालकीमें बैठकर चलते हैं
mahac ca phalavaiṣamyaṃ dṛśyate karmasaṃdhiṣu | vahanti śibikām anye yānty anye śibikāgatāḥ ||
Nārada dit : «On voit une grande inégalité dans les fruits des actes. Les uns portent la litière, tandis que d’autres voyagent assis dans cette même litière.»
