त॑ ददर्शाश्रमपदे नारद: सुमहातपा: । अथैनमब्रवीत् काले मथुराक्षरया गिरा,उसी समय महातपस्वी नारदजी उस आश्रमपर पधारकर व्यासजीसे मिले और मधुर अक्षरोंसे युक्त मीठी वाणीमें उनसे इस प्रकार बोले--
taṁ dadarśāśramapade nāradaḥ sumahātapāḥ | athainam abravīt kāle madhurākṣarayā girā ||
Alors le grand ascète Nārada le vit à l’ermitage. Au moment convenable, il s’adressa à lui d’une voix douce, avec des mots choisis et suaves—ouvrant ainsi un conseil porté par la courtoisie et le sens du temps juste.
