पश्य वीर्य कुमारस्य नैतदन्य: करिष्यति । उस शक्तिको हिलाकर भगवानने प्रह्नादसे कहा--'देखो, कुमारमें कितना बल है? यह कार्य दूसरा कोई नहीं कर सकेगा”
paśya vīryaṁ kumārasya naitad anyaḥ kariṣyati |
Bhishma dit : Ayant fait frémir cette arme, le Seigneur dit à Prahlada : « Vois la vaillance du Prince ; nul autre ne saurait accomplir cet acte. » Cette parole souligne que la force et l’aptitude exceptionnelles, lorsqu’elles sont reconnues à leur juste mesure, deviennent la preuve d’une convenance unique à une tâche, et rappellent que certaines charges n’échoient qu’à ceux qui peuvent réellement les porter.
