anena vidhinā kārṣṇis tad ahaḥ śeṣam acyutaḥ | tāṃ ca rātriṃ nṛpakule vartayāmāsa bhārata bharatanandana ||
Bhishma dit : « Ainsi, ô descendant de Bharata, Śuka—qui ne s’écarte jamais des bornes de la bienséance—passa le reste de ce jour-là et toute la nuit en demeurant dans la demeure royale. »
भीष्म उवाच
