Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)
सातिसूक्ष्मां कथां श्रुत्वा तथ्यं नेति ससंशया । दर्शने जातसंकल्पा जनकस्य बभूव ह
sātisūkṣmāṁ kathāṁ śrutvā tathyaṁ neti saṁśayā | darśane jāta-saṅkalpā janakasya babhūva ha ||
Bhishma dit : Ayant entendu, de la bouche d’autrui, un enseignement d’une extrême subtilité sur le Brahman suprême, Sulabhā fut saisie de doute : ce qu’on rapportait du roi Janaka était-il vrai ou non ? Quand cette incertitude s’éleva, une résolution ferme naquit en son cœur : aller voir Janaka de ses propres yeux.
