Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)
तत्र सा विप्रहायाथ पूर्वरूपं हि योगतः । अबिभ्रदनवद्याड्री रूपमन्यदनुत्तमम्
tatra sā viprahāyātha pūrvarūpaṃ hi yogataḥ | abibhrad anavadyāḍrī rūpam anyad anuttamam ||
Bhishma dit : Alors, par la puissance du yoga, elle rejeta sa forme première et en revêtit une autre, d’une excellence suprême. Ses membres rayonnaient d’une beauté sans défaut ; et cette jeune fille aux yeux de lotus, aux beaux sourcils, se mouvant avec la vitesse d’une flèche, atteignit en un instant Mithilā, la capitale du pays de Videha.
