नारद–शुक संवादः (Nārada–Śuka Dialogue): Tyāga, Saṃyama, and Vyakta–Avyakta Viveka

स्थिरत्वादिन्द्रियाणां तु निश्चलत्वात्‌ तथैव च | एवं युक्तस्य तु मुनेर्लक्षणान्युपलक्षयेत्‌

sthiratvād indriyāṇāṁ tu niścalatvāt tathaiva ca | evaṁ yuktasya tu muner lakṣaṇāny upalakṣayet ||

Parce que les indriya sont devenus stables, et de même parce que l’esprit demeure immobile, on doit reconnaître les signes d’un muni ainsi attelé au yoga. Cet ascète discipliné, établi dans une concentration supérieure, ne glisse pas hors du samādhi même au milieu des troubles ; sa tenue intérieure se manifeste par l’inébranlable stabilité de ses facultés.
