Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse

तथैव वागुरां छिक्त्वा बलवन्तो यथा मृगा: । प्राप्तुयुर्विमलं मार्ग विमुक्ता: सर्वबन्धनै:

Transliteration

tathaiva vāgurāṁ chittvā balavanto yathā mṛgāḥ | prāptuyur vimalaṁ mārgaṁ vimuktāḥ sarvabandhanaiḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dit : «Ô roi, de même que des cerfs vigoureux, après avoir déchiré le filet du chasseur, se libèrent de toute entrave et s’avancent sur une voie sans obstacle, ainsi les yogin, pourvus de la puissance du yoga, brisent les liens nés de l’avidité et atteignent la voie souverainement pure et propice.»
