सांख्ययोगभेदः तथा योगबलोपदेशः
Sāṃkhya–Yoga Distinction and Instruction on Yogic Strength
निवेदयामास तदा शिवायामिततेजसे । देवश्रेष्ठाय रुद्राय सौम्याय बहुरूपिणे,उस समय उन्होंने अमित तेजस्वी अनेक रूपधारी सौम्य एवं शिवस्वरूप देवेश्वर रुद्रसे इस प्रकार निवेदन किया
nivedayāmāsa tadā śivāyāmitatejase | devaśreṣṭhāya rudrāya saumyāya bahurūpiṇe ||
Bhīṣma dit : Alors il adressa, avec une humble révérence, sa requête à Rudra—Śiva lui-même—d’une splendeur incommensurable, le premier parmi les dieux, d’aspect doux et pourtant capable de prendre d’innombrables formes.
