Adhyāya 287 — Janaka’s Inquiry on Śreyas, Abhayadāna, and Asaṅga

भवानेवंविधो<स्माकं संशयं छेत्तुमरहति । अमूढश्चिरमूढानां लोकतत्त्वमजानताम्
bhavānevamvidho 'smākaṃ saṃśayaṃ chettum arhati | amūḍhaś ciramūḍhānāṃ lokatattvam ajānatām ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Un sage tel que toi est véritablement apte à trancher notre doute. Car depuis longtemps nous demeurons dans l’illusion, sans connaître les principes véritables du monde ; seul un connaisseur non égaré comme toi peut dissiper l’incertitude de gens comme nous.»
