श्रेयो-धर्मकर्मविचारः

Inquiry into Śreyas, Dharma, and Karma

बाहों चाभ्यन्तरे चैव कर्मणोर्मनसि स्थित: । निर्मलीकुरुते बुद्धा सोअमुत्रानन्त्यमश्लुते

bāhye cābhyantare caiva karmaṇor manasi sthitaḥ | nirmalīkurute buddhyā so 'mutrānantyam aśnute ||

Bhīṣma dit : « Celui qui s’adonne aux disciplines extérieures (telles que les devoirs rituels et sacrificiels) et aux disciplines intérieures (telles que la maîtrise de soi et le contrôle des sens), et qui établit la stabilité dans l’esprit—le purifiant par l’intelligence de discernement—obtient dans l’au-delà un bien impérissable et sans limite : la délivrance. »
