परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269
सर्व विदुर्वेदविदो वेदे सर्व प्रतिष्ठितम् । वेदे हि निष्ठा सर्वस्य यद् यदस्ति च नास्ति च
sarva vidur vedavido vede sarva pratiṣṭhitam | vede hi niṣṭhā sarvasya yad yad asti ca nāsti ca ||
Kapila dit : «Ceux qui connaissent véritablement le Veda connaissent tout, car dans le Veda tout est fondé et établi. En vérité, le Veda est l’ultime recours de toute compréhension : il expose la condition de ce qui existe et de ce qui n’existe pas.»
