नारद–असित (देवल) संवादः — भूतप्रभवाप्यय, इन्द्रिय-गुण-विवेक, क्षेत्रज्ञ-तत्त्व
यज्ञशास्त्रमें क्रमश: वर्णित ये सम्पूर्ण यज्ञांग विधि-पूर्वक यज्ञमें प्रयुक्त हो एक दूसरेको धारण करते हैं ।।
āmnāyam ārṣaṁ paśyāmi yasmin vedāḥ pratiṣṭhitāḥ | taṁ vidvāṁso 'nupaśyanti brāhmaṇasyānudarśanāt ||
Kapila dit : «Je contemple l’antique tradition, transmise par les voyants (āmnāya), en laquelle les Veda sont solidement établis. Parce qu’elle est confirmée par les parties Brahmana, d’autorité pour guider l’acte rituel, les savants reconnaissent cet enseignement des rishis comme une norme valable.»
कपिल उवाच
Kapila affirms a hierarchy of scriptural authority: the seer-transmitted tradition (āmnāya) is trustworthy because the Vedas are grounded in it and because it is corroborated by the Brāhmaṇa portions that prescribe and explain ritual action; thus the learned accept it as pramāṇa (a valid standard).
In the didactic setting of Śānti Parva, Kapila is explaining how wise people determine what counts as authoritative dharma/ritual teaching, pointing to the continuity between Veda, Brāhmaṇa guidance, and the received seerly tradition.
