अज्जन्येतानि यज्ञस्य यज्ञो मूलमिति श्रुति: । आज्येन पयसा दध्ना शकृता5$मिक्षया त्वचा
ajyajanyetāni yajñasya yajño mūlam iti śrutiḥ | ājyena payasā dadhnā śakṛtā'mikṣayā tvacā |
Kapila explique que les matières issues de la vache sont des constituants indispensables de l’œuvre sacrificielle, et que le sacrifice lui-même est, selon la révélation védique (śruti), un appui fondamental de la stabilité du monde. Par le ghee, le lait, le caillé, la bouse, la préparation lactée appelée āmikṣā, et même le cuir, la vache devient le moyen par lequel s’accomplissent les devoirs rituels. Aussi faut-il recueillir et employer chacun de ces éléments, selon ce qui est prescrit par la règle sacrée.
कपिल उवाच
Kapila teaches that yajña, grounded in śruti, is a sustaining principle for worldly order, and that the cow’s products are legitimate, prescribed means for fulfilling ritual duty; one should procure and use them according to scriptural injunction.
