पूर्णमण्डलमालोक्य तावुत्थायोपतस्थतु: । दोनों एकाग्रचित्त होकर प्राचीन वृत्तान्तोंकी चर्चा कर ही रहे थे कि किरणजालसे मण्डित भगवान् भास्करका उदय हुआ। सूर्यदेवका सम्पूर्ण मण्डल देख उन दोनोंने खड़े होकर उनका उपस्थान किया
pūrṇamaṇḍalam ālokya tāv utthāyopatasthatuḥ |
Bhīṣma dit : Voyant se lever le soleil dans la plénitude de son disque, tous deux se dressèrent aussitôt et, interrompant leur entretien attentif sur les récits anciens, rendirent un hommage respectueux au resplendissant Seigneur Bhāskara. La scène rappelle la discipline : même au cœur d’un propos grave, il convient de maintenir la révérence au moment juste et l’observance appropriée.
