ज्वलन्तः प्रतपन्तश्ष॒ कालेन प्रतिसंहता: । त्वं चैवेमां यदा भुक्‍्त्वा पृथिवीं त्यक्षसे पुन:

Transliteration

jvalantaḥ pratapantaś ca kālena pratisaṃhatāḥ | tvaṃ caivemāṃ yadā bhuktvā pṛthivīṃ tyakṣase punaḥ ||

Translation

Flamboyants et brûlants, tous les êtres, avec le temps, sont ramenés à la dissolution. Et toi aussi—lorsque tu auras joui de cette terre et l’auras gouvernée—tu l’abandonneras de nouveau.
