ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana

सर्वे सर्वेषु भूतेषु यथावत् प्रतिपेदिरे । सर्वे दाक्षायणीपुत्रा: प्राजापत्या महाबला:
sarve sarveṣu bhūteṣu yathāvat pratipedire | sarve dākṣāyaṇīputrāḥ prājāpatyā mahābalāḥ |
Bhishma dit : «Tous se comportaient envers chaque être vivant d’une manière juste et appropriée. Tous étaient nés des filles de Daksha et formaient la puissante descendance du Prajapati Kashyapa.»
