(Pralaya Process) — Guṇa-Withdrawal and Pratisaṃcara
The verse foregrounds tejas (inner spiritual-moral radiance) as a marker of higher truth and authority: when such radiance appears, even Indra seeks proper identification, implying that power should be recognized and questioned through dharmic inquiry rather than assumption.
Indra (Śakra) sees a radiant female figure standing before him, described as shining with her own splendor and having left the foremost Daitya. Astonished and unfamiliar with her, he asks her to reveal her identity.
