Attaining the Brahman-Station: The Vow of Equanimity in Mokṣadharma
This verse is a colophon rather than a doctrinal statement: it signals the completion of a Mokṣadharma-style dialogue, framing the preceding discussion as guidance on dharma and liberation (mokṣa) delivered through the exchange between Śakra (Indra) and Prahlāda.
The text is closing the chapter: it formally identifies the work (Mahābhārata), the larger book (Śānti Parvan), the subsection (Mokṣadharma), and the chapter’s title (“Śakra–Prahlāda Dialogue”), along with its chapter number, indicating the end of that discourse.
