Adhyāya 199: Karma–Jñāna Causality and the Nirguṇa Brahman
Manu’s Instruction
The verse emphasizes completeness and clarity in spiritual instruction: the speaker has fully described the ‘gati’ (destiny/attainment) of a japa-practitioner, implying that disciplined inner practice leads to a definite spiritual outcome, and invites the listener to inquire further if needed.
Virūpa concludes a prior explanation addressed to a king, summarizing that he has finished describing the fate or spiritual course of a jāpaka, and then asks the king what additional topic he wishes to hear next.
