Manu’s Instruction

राजोवाच धिग्राजधर्म यस्यायं कार्यस्येह विनिश्चय: । इत्यर्थ मे ग्रहीतव्यं कथं तुल्यं भवेदिति
Translation
Le roi dit : « Honte au dharma royal, puisque c’est ainsi qu’ici s’est tranchée l’issue de cet acte ! Voici le sens que je dois retenir : comment le brāhmane et moi pourrions-nous obtenir un fruit égal ? C’est dans ce dessein que je veux accepter ce don. »
