ब्रवीषि मधुरं यच्च प्रियो मे5द्य भवानिति
bravīṣi madhuraṁ yac ca priyo me ’dya bhavān iti |
Bhīṣma dit : «Tu parles avec douceur lorsque tu dis : “Aujourd’hui tu m’es cher.” Même cela a sa raison, mon ami. Je vais te l’exposer en détail — écoute. On devient objet d’amour pour une cause, et l’on devient objet de haine pour une cause.»
