Kośa-saṃjanana and Subtle Dharma
Treasury Formation and Fine-Grained Ethics
As a colophon, the line itself does not add new instruction; it marks the completion of a chapter focused on āpaddharma—how rulers and the righteous should uphold dharma under distress—illustrated through the exemplary conduct (caritra) of rājarṣis.
The text is closing a chapter within the Śānti Parva’s Āpaddharma section, indicating that the chapter titled “Rājarṣīṇāṁ Caritra” has ended; it functions as an editorial/narrative boundary rather than spoken dialogue.
