विनाशं यास्यति क्षिप्रं कल्याणी पृथुलोचना । “निश्चय ही जिसके पति और पुत्र मारे गये हैं, वह कल्याणमयी विशाललोचना लक्ष्मणकी माता भी सारा समाचार सुनकर तुरंत ही प्राण दे देगी

Transliteration

vināśaṃ yāsyati kṣipraṃ kalyāṇī pṛthulocanā |

Translation

Sañjaya dit : «Cette dame de bon augure, aux grands yeux, rencontrera bientôt sa fin. En vérité, lorsqu’elle entendra tout le récit disant que son époux et son fils ont été tués, la mère de Lakṣmaṇa rendra aussitôt la vie.»
