शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command

Public humiliation of the innocent and unjust dispossession are grave adharma; such wrongs demand moral accountability. Kṛṣṇa’s intolerance here underscores that dharma includes protecting dignity and restoring justice, not merely personal forbearance.
Sañjaya recalls two pivotal injustices—the forced bringing of Draupadī into the assembly and the taking away of the Pāṇḍavas’ kingdom—and states that Kṛṣṇa does not accept or overlook these acts, framing them as causes that must be answered for.
