पशुदा वित्तदा चैव सुखदा च महायशा: । पयोदा गोमहिषदा सुविशाला च भारत

Transliteration

paśudā vittadā caiva sukhadā ca mahāyaśāḥ | payodā gomahiṣadā suviśālā ca bhārata

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : «Ô Bhārata, (ces vaches) donnent le bétail, donnent la richesse et donnent le bien-être ; elles jouissent d’une grande renommée. Elles donnent du lait, accordent vaches et buffles (c’est-à-dire accroissent les troupeaux), et sont larges et bien charpentées.»
