अध्याय ४ — दुर्योधनस्य असंधि-निश्चयः
Duryodhana’s Refusal of Reconciliation
सर्वलोकमहेष्वासौ वृषभौ सर्वधन्विनाम् । आमुक्तकवचौ कृष्णौ लोकमध्ये विचेरतु:
sarvalokamaheṣvāsau vṛṣabhau sarvadhanvinām | āmuktakavacau kṛṣṇau lokamadhye viceratuḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : «Krishna et Arjuna —ces deux héros d’élite, taureaux parmi tous les archers, grands maîtres de l’arc renommés à travers les mondes— se mouvaient sans crainte au milieu de l’armée, l’armure solidement attachée à leurs membres.»
संजय उवाच
Excellence and righteousness in action are shown through fearless composure and readiness: the greatest warriors do not merely possess skill, they embody steadiness, discipline, and responsibility while moving among danger without panic.
Sañjaya describes Krishna and Arjuna on the battlefield, fully armored, moving confidently among the assembled warriors—presented as the foremost archers whose presence steadies and inspires their side.
