रथादवातरद् वीर: शैलाग्रादिव केसरी । धनुष कट जानेपर रथहीन हुए वीर नकुल हाथमें ढाल-तलवार लेकर पर्वतके शिखरसे उतरनेवाले सिंहके समान रथसे नीचे आ गये
sañjaya uvāca |
rathād avātarad vīraḥ śailāgrād iva kesarī |
Sañjaya dit : Le vaillant guerrier descendit de son char, tel un lion quittant un sommet de montagne. Privé de son char lorsque son arc fut tranché, il n’abandonna ni courage ni devoir : l’épée et le bouclier en main, il mit pied à terre pour poursuivre le combat avec une résolution inébranlable au milieu du tumulte de la guerre.
