तथैव सुद्ठदं प्राज्ञ कुर्वाणं कर्म पापकम् । प्राज्ञा: सम्प्रतिषेधन्ति यथाशक्ति पुन: पुन:,इसी तरह विद्वान् पुरुष पापकर्ममें प्रवृत्त होनेवाले अपने बुद्धिमान सुहृदको भी यथाशक्ति बारंबार मना करते हैं
tathaiva su-dṛḍhaṁ prājña kurvāṇaṁ karma pāpakam | prājñāḥ sampratiṣedhanti yathāśakti punaḥ punaḥ ||
De même, lorsqu’un ami sage s’obstine à commettre un acte coupable, les hommes clairvoyants le retiennent, autant qu’ils le peuvent, à maintes reprises, afin de le détourner du mal.
