Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)
राजोवाच भगवन् राज्यमुत्सृज्य प्रस्थितो5हं तपोवनम् । कि वरेणाल्पभाग्यस्य कि राज्येनाप्रजस्य मे
rājovāca bhagavan rājyam utsṛjya prasthito 'haṃ tapovanam | kiṃ vareṇālpabhāgyasya kiṃ rājyenāprajasya me ||
Le roi dit : «Ô Bienheureux, j’ai renoncé à mon royaume et je suis parti vers la forêt des austérités. À quoi sert une grâce à celui dont la fortune est maigre ? À quoi me sert la royauté, moi qui suis sans descendance ?»
स उवाच मुनि राजा भगवन् नास्ति मे सुतः ।
