बलेनाथ स संस्तभ्य ब्रह्मास्त्रं समुदैरयत्‌ । ऐन्द्रं ततोर्डर्जुनश्वापि तं दृष्टवा भ्युपमन्त्रयत्‌

Transliteration

balenātha sa saṁstabhya brahmāstraṁ samudairayat | aindraṁ tato 'rjunaś cāpi taṁ dṛṣṭvābhyupamantrayat ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : Se raffermissant par la force, il lança le Brahmāstra. Alors Arjuna, le voyant, invoqua en réponse l’arme d’Indra. L’instant montre comment, dans la fureur de la guerre, les combattants en viennent aux traits divins, faisant monter la tension éthique entre la nécessité du combat et le péril de déchaîner des puissances capables de menacer le monde.
