न पक्षिणो बश्रमुरन्तरिक्षे तदा महास्त्रेण कृतेडन्धकारे
na pakṣiṇo baśramur antarīkṣe tadā mahāstreṇa kṛte 'ndhakāre
Sañjaya dit : Quand cette arme puissante fut déchaînée et que l’obscurité se répandit dans le ciel, même les oiseaux ne purent se mouvoir dans les airs—tant était aveuglante et de mauvais augure l’opacité née de l’usage d’une grande puissance astrale dans la guerre.
