अथोपयातत्त्वरितो दिदृक्षु- मन्त्रौषधीभिर्निरुजो विशल्य:

athopayāt tvarito didṛkṣu-

mantrauṣadhībhir nirujo viśalyaḥ

Sañjaya dit : Alors il s’avança en hâte, désireux de le voir—désormais délivré de la douleur, la flèche retirée, rétabli par des mantras et des herbes médicinales. Ce vers souligne que, même au cœur de la brutalité de la guerre, le soin, le savoir et l’aide opportune peuvent, un instant, arracher un guerrier blessé à la souffrance.
