taiś cātivegāt sa tathāvidho ’pi nītaḥ śamaṁ vallir atipracandaḥ | balāhakair eva digantarāṇi vyāptāni sarvāṇi yathā nabhaḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Sous l’élan irrésistible de leur force, même lui—si redoutable fût-il—fut contraint de s’arrêter, tel un lierre déchaîné soudain apaisé. C’était comme si tous les horizons du ciel avaient été entièrement couverts de nuages d’orage, ne laissant aucune direction inoccupée.
