शत्रुपक्षमवस्कन्द्य शरानस्यति मारुति: । शत्रुओंद्वारा पांचालोंके पराजित होनेपर ये वायुपुत्र भीमसेन निर्भय गर्जना करते हुए शत्रुदलपर आक्रमण करके बाणोंकी वर्षा कर रहे हैं

Transliteration

śatrupakṣam avaskandya śarān asyati mārutiḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya dit : S’étant rué sur l’aile ennemie, le fils de Māruti (Bhîmasena) la couvre d’une pluie de flèches. Alors que les Pāñcāla sont repoussés, il avance sans crainte, rugissant à pleine voix, et frappe les rangs adverses—image d’un courage constant et du devoir (dharma) au cœur du tumulte guerrier.
