ततस्ते तावका योधा धृष्टद्युम्नमुपाद्रवन् । सिंहनादरवं कृत्वा ततो युद्धमवर्तत,तब आपके समस्त योद्धा सिंहनाद करके धृष्टद्युम्नपर टूट पड़े। फिर वहाँ घोर युद्ध होने लगा
tatas te tāvakā yodhā dhṛṣṭadyumnam upādravan | siṃhanāda-ravaṃ kṛtvā tato yuddham avartata ||
Sañjaya dit : Alors tes guerriers se ruèrent sur Dhṛṣṭadyumna ; poussant un cri de guerre pareil au rugissement du lion, ils fondirent sur lui. Dès lors, un affrontement farouche éclata sur ce champ.
