अपरे कृष्यमाणाश्रन विचेष्टन्तो महीतले । भावान् बहुविधांश्वक्रुस्ताडिता: शरतोमरै:
apare kṛṣyamāṇāś ca viceṣṭanto mahītale | bhāvān bahuvidhāṁś cakrus tāḍitāḥ śaratomaraiḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : D’autres chevaux, frappés par des flèches et des javelots (tomara), étaient traînés et se tordaient sur le sol, manifestant mille signes de détresse et d’affolement. La scène souligne l’élan brutal du combat, où même les montures innocentes sont entraînées dans la souffrance par la violence des guerriers.
