कृष्णोपदेशः, अर्जुनस्य क्षमा-याचनम्, कर्णवध-अनुज्ञा
Krishna’s Counsel, Arjuna’s Apology, and Authorization for Karṇa’s Slaying
गर्जतां सागरौघाणां यथा स्यान्नि:स्वनो महान् | जैसे जलका प्रवाह वेगके साथ समुद्रमें जाकर मिलता है
garjatāṃ sāgaraughāṇāṃ yathā syān niḥsvano mahān | te tu sene samāsādya vegavatyau parasparam ||
Sañjaya dit : De même qu’un rugissement puissant s’élève lorsque les masses déchaînées de l’océan tonnent en se heurtant, ainsi, lorsque les deux armées, rapides comme le vent, se rencontrèrent soudain sur le champ de bataille, un fracas immense et profond jaillit—né de leur choc et de l’impact réciproque des volées de flèches—pareil au grondement grave des mers mugissantes.
