कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
आरुरोह तदा स्थाणुर्धनुषा कम्पयन् परान् । तब विष्णु, चन्द्रमा और अग्निसे उत्पन्न हुए उस बाणको हाथमें लेकर महादेवजी अपने धनुषके द्वारा शत्रुओंको कम्पित करते हुए उस रथपर चढ़ गये
āruroha tadā sthāṇur dhanuṣā kampayan parān | tad viṣṇu-candra-māgni-sambhūtaṁ taṁ bāṇaṁ haste gṛhītvā mahādevaḥ sva-dhanuṣā śatrūn kampayan ratham ārūḍhavān ||
Bhīṣma dit : Alors Sthāṇu (Śiva), faisant trembler les ennemis par son arc, monta sur le char. Prenant en main cette flèche dont on dit qu’elle naquit de Viṣṇu, de la Lune et d’Agni, Mahādeva s’éleva sur le véhicule et, de son propre arc, ébranla les rangs adverses de frayeur.
