संनिवार्य महाबाणांस्तव पुत्रेण प्रेषितान् अथास्मै सुबहून् बाणान् प्रेषयामास संयुगे,इस प्रकार आपके पुत्रके चलाये हुए उन महाबाणोंका निवारण करके युद्धस्थलमें सहदेवने उसके ऊपर भी बहुत-से बाण छोड़े
saṁnivārya mahābāṇāṁs tava putreṇa preṣitān athāsmai subahūn bāṇān preṣayāmāsa saṁyuge
Sañjaya dit : Ayant paré les flèches puissantes lancées par ton fils, Sahadeva, au cœur de la mêlée, lui renvoya à son tour une multitude de traits—force répondant à la force, selon l’échange réglé de la guerre.
