Chapter 99: Sātyaki and Duḥśāsana’s engagement
अतिष्ठद् युगमध्ये स युगसंनहनेषु च । जघनार्थेषु चाश्वानां तत् सैन्यान्यभ्यपूजयन्,वे एक पैर जूएके ठीक बीचमें और दूसरा पैर उस जूएसे सटे हुए (आचार्यके) घोड़ोंके पिछले आधे भागोंपर रखकर खड़े हो गये। उनके इस कार्यकी सभी सैनिकोंने भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की
atiṣṭhad yugamadhye sa yugasaṃnahaneṣu ca | jaghanārtheṣu cāśvānāṃ tat sainyāny abhyapūjayan ||
Sañjaya dit : Il se tint en équilibre, un pied au milieu même du joug et l’autre sur l’attache du joug, campé au-dessus de l’arrière des chevaux. Voyant cette audace au cœur de la mêlée, les troupes l’acclamèrent à maintes reprises, louant sa prouesse et sa présence d’esprit.
