Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 95 — Sātyaki’s Breakthrough and the Routing of Allied Contingents
लोडयन्तमनीकानि द्विप॑ पद्मससरो यथा । नाशवनुवन् वारयितु पार्थ क्षत्रियपुड़रवा:
loḍayantam anīkāni dvipaḥ padmasarovaraṃ yathā | nāśakan nu vārayituṃ pārtha kṣatriyapuṅgavāḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Comme un éléphant brasse un lac rempli de lotus, ainsi il bouleversait les formations de bataille. Les plus grands des kṣatriya ne pouvaient l’arrêter, ô Pārtha : telle était la puissance de son assaut dans cette guerre juste et pourtant terrible.
