Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 95 — Sātyaki’s Breakthrough and the Routing of Allied Contingents
ते जघ्नुस्तौ महेष्वासौ ताभ्यां मुक्तांश्व सायकान् | विचेरुराकाशगता: पार्थबाणविदारिता:,उन बाणोंने उन दोनों महाधनुर्धरोंको तथा उनके छोड़े हुए सायकोंको भी छिल्न-भिन्न कर दिया। अर्जुनके बाणोंसे टुकड़े-टुकड़े होकर उन शत्रुओंके बाण आकाशमें विचरने लगे
te jaghnus tau maheṣvāsau tābhyāṁ muktāṁś ca sāyakān | vicerur ākāśagatāḥ pārthabāṇavidāritāḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Ces deux grands archers abattirent les flèches lancées par l’autre camp ; et les traits ennemis, brisés par les flèches de Pārtha (Arjuna), voltigèrent dans le ciel en éclats dispersés.
