Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Sañjaya Dialogue: Praise of the Host and Inquiry after the Breach
नानाप्रहरणैश्नान्ये विचित्रस्रगलड्कृता: । संग्राममनस: शूरास्तत्र तत्र व्यवस्थिता:,दूसरे शूरवीर योद्धा विचित्र मालाओंसे अलंकृत हो नाना प्रकारके अस्त्र-शस्त्र लिये मनमें युद्धके लिये उत्साहित होकर जहाँ-तहाँ खड़े थे
nānāpraharaṇaiś cānye vicitrasragalaṅkṛtāḥ | saṅgrāmamanasaḥ śūrās tatra tatra vyavasthitāḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : « D’autres héros encore, parés de guirlandes bigarrées et munis de toutes sortes d’armes, se tenaient postés çà et là—l’esprit tourné vers la bataille, avides du choc. La scène souligne la résolution commune de guerriers qui, ayant accepté le code du champ de bataille, se présentent pleinement prêts aux devoirs et aux conséquences de la guerre. »
