Yudhiṣṭhira’s Charge to Sātyaki amid Droṇa’s Onslaught

Even in a violent and morally complex setting like the Kurukṣetra war, dharmic leadership is shown through restraint and respectful communication—Yudhiṣṭhira approaches Kṛṣṇa with measured, gentle speech, indicating humility and a commitment to righteous counsel.
Sañjaya reports that Yudhiṣṭhira, in the presence and hearing of others, turns to Kṛṣṇa (Madhusūdana, Puṇḍarīkākṣa) and begins to speak to him courteously, setting up the counsel or request that follows in subsequent verses.
